Timber Framed Walls
Renotherm is sprayed between the timber studs onto the surface of the cavity sheathing board in accordance with BBA Certificate No. 02/3964.
It eliminates unwanted air leakage and any condensation risk whilst providing an unequalled level of thermal insulation. By eliminating all gaps the acoustic properties of the structure are greatly enhanced.
Renotherm can be applied to any depth to achieve whatever U Value is required. In 90mm studwork a foam depth of 75mm will achieve a U Value of 0.27W/m2. Renotherm can be applied to off-site cassettes or equally very efficiently on-site. For applications which are to attain the best thermal performance in line with the Code for Sustainable Homes, Renotherm's high thermal performance is of paramount importance.
Renotherm is applied seamlessly to the adjoining pitched and flat roof timber framework eliminating any possibility of cold bridging at these sections. BBA Certifcate 02/3964 approves the use of Renotherm to pitched and flat timber roofs, timber frame walls and timber and concrete ground floors. Renotherm are also about to launch a new open cell foam, ' Sonarspray' for acoustic applications in timber frame and concrete floor constructions.
