Renotherm - Spray Applied Polyurethane Foam

Barn Conversions

Converted BarnRenotherm is increasingly used in the restoration of period homes, schools, Churches and barns - many of which are Grade I or II listed. Renovating these properties requires a sympathetic approach to the original character but this does not mean that you have to settle for sub-standard performance. If you are planning such a restoration, it is important you consider the advantages of Renotherm.

Renotherm Solution

Renotherm eliminates the need to remove the tiles or slates; the original character of the roof remains intact and the cost saving is considerable.

Since you need only 75mm of Renotherm foam to provide effective insulation, this can be plastered over for a beautiful finish, leaving most of the rafter exposed. The foam requires a certain amount of cutting back and trimming and the overspray will need to be removed from the beams. This work should be organised in conjunction with your builders or plasterers.

Flint, brick, natural stone and timber frame walls can be treated in the same way to give water resistant, fully insulated structures with no cold bridges.
